GT wins order for polysilicon production equipment, technology in Saudi Arabia
GT Advanced Technologies has received a $47.7 million order for polysilicon production equipment and technology from Polysilicon Technology Co. (PTC), a company based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new contract continues a technology agreement with PTC that was first signed in 2009.

CB&I said on Tuesday that subsidiary Lummus Technology has been awarded a contract by China Coal Shaanxi Yulin Energy & Chemical Co. for the license and engineering design of two light olefins recovery units. The startup of the first unit is expected in 2013.

Algenol begins construction on Florida bio-refinery
Algenol Biofuels has broken ground on construction of its pilot-scale integrated bio-refinery, which will include the first large-scale deployment of Algenol's patented Direct To Ethanol technology to produce ethanol directly from carbon dioxide, sunlight and salt water using blue-green algae in patented photobioreactors (PBRs).
