US appeals court backs EPA greenhouse gas rules
The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, in an 82-page ruling, unanimously upheld the EPA's central finding that greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide endanger public health and welfare. The EPA regulations followed a landmark Supreme Court ruling in 2007.
