Kognitiv Spark advances the future of connected field worker collaboration

Kognitiv Spark has released the next evolution of its connected field worker platform – RemoteSpark. This update makes the link between frontline teams and remote experts stronger, the usage of the platform more intuitive, and supports capturing critical information and knowledge for future use.

This new version of RemoteSpark marks a significant evolution of the connected field worker experience, introducing new ways for organizations to deploy, scale, and preserve operational expertise across their workforce. The release introduces a browser-based client, centralized software lifecycle management, and expanded capabilities for capturing and preserving operational knowledge.

“This user focused update is an important step forward in how organizations connect their onsite workers, technical expertise, and operational knowledge,” said Yan Simard, CEO at Kognitiv Spark. “We’ve focused on delivering a more flexible, scalable platform that simplifies deployment while creating new opportunities for teams to preserve expertise and support their frontline workforce.”

The core features within this new version are:

  • Android Smart Glasses support: The update expands the platform’s link to this ecosystem, including the RealWear ARC 3. This will give organizations greater flexibility in how they deploy connected worker solutions. The release enables teams to select the hardware best suited to their operational environments while maintaining RemoteSpark’s secure collaboration experience.
  • Device integration: A dynamic piece to this update is the ability to integrate and connect seamlessly across devices. Users can easily work between Augmented Reality headsets, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. Workers in the field can now work on critical infrastructure, conduct repairs, and maintain asset capabilities with whatever device they may have access to.
  • Remote capture and recording: This expands how organizations capture and preserve operational knowledge through new video capture and call recording capabilities. Teams can capture both on-demand visual context and full remote support sessions, ensuring that critical troubleshooting knowledge, procedures, and expertise can be retained and shared across the organization.
  • Web Client access: An updated browser-first experience that redefines how connected worker technology is deployed and accessed securely. This new feature enables organizations to deploy RemoteSpark across devices and environments with greater flexibility, while maintaining a consistent collaboration experience that connects workers, experts, and operational knowledge in the most demanding environments globally.
  • Multiple device installer: This Mobile Device Management (MDM) offering provides centralized management of software deployments, updates, and version control across devices. This ensures a seamless RemoteSpark experience across workforces, reducing administrative complexity and improving deployment reliability at scale.

Knowing there are field workers around the world managing and maintaining critical infrastructure, Kognitiv Spark is excited to introduce these updates. The company understands the demanding operational environments they’re working in, and is focused on providing improved usage, connectivity and capture.
