PARIS (Reuters) -- French oil and gas company Total said on Wednesday that its South Korean JV with Hanwha will invest $450 MM in the group's refining and petrochemicals platform to expand capacity in order to meet growing demand from China.
OMV to invest $116.7 MM in petchem units at Schwechat refinery
VIENNA (Reuters) -- Austrian oil and gas group OMV will pay $116.7 MM for a planned turnaround at the petrochemical units of its Schwechat refinery which will start in the middle of this month, it said on Tuesday.
Fluor awarded contract for two Marathon refineries in Texas
IRVING, Texas – Fluor Corporation announced that it was selected by a division of Marathon Petroleum Corporation to execute the engineering and procurement scope for a major reconfiguration at Marathon’s Galveston Bay and Texas City, Texas refineries. Fluor will book the undisclosed contract value into backlog in the first quarter of 2017.
