Japanese engineering and construction firm Chiyoda Corp. has entered into a collaboration agreement with Taiwanese firm CTCI to collaborate in the field of non-hydrocarbon projects. According to the agreement, Chiyoda and CTCI will develop and explore the business opportunities worldwide in the field of non-hydrocarbon projects, such as infrastructure, new energy resources, environmental and industrial projects.
Invensys to build integrated refinery information system for Saudi Aramco, Total project
Invensys Operations Management, a global provider of technology systems, software solutions and consulting services to the manufacturing and infrastructure operations industries, said it signed a multi-million dollar contract to implement an integrated refinery information system (IRIS) for Saudi Aramco Total Refining & Petrochemical Co. LUKOIL awards Baker Hughes engineering contract for Iraq drilling project
LUKOIL has awarded Baker Hughes a two-year contract to provide full drilling and completion services for 23 wells in the West Qurna field in southeast Iraq, 31 miles west of Basra. Under the terms of the contract, Baker Hughes will provide engineering and project management for the turnkey drilling and completions scope of the project.
Fluor wins engineering deal for Dow, Saudi Aramco $20bn chemical complex
Fluor has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) contract for all of the utilities and offsites at the al-Jubail chemical complex in Saudi Arabia. The complex is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical.
