Alternative energy research park to be built in Colorado

On March 16, the Weld County Commissioners in Colorado unanimously approved Harrison Resource Corp.’s plans for development of Niobrara Energy Park, a 640-acre project that will integrate natural gas and renewable energy generation facilities, including solar and wind energy, with data centers and energy research. KiOR signs offtake agreement with Hunt Refining for renewables

KiOR has signed an offtake agreement with Hunt Refining. Hunt has agreed to purchase renewable gasoline and diesel blendstocks and fuel oil produced at KiOR’s first commercial facility to be located in Columbus, Mississippi. In addition to the offtake of renewable fuel blendstocks, the two companies have agreed to collaborate on information and resources aimed at optimizing the performance of their products and services.
