Capstone Turbine receives order for 24 C65s to be used at Eagle Ford
Capstone Turbine has received an order for 24 additional C65 microturbines for one of the world's largest independent oil and natural gas companies. This order is a follow-on order to an 18-unit C65 order received in August 2010. All 18 of the C65s purchased in August 2010 have been successfully commissioned by Capstone distributor Pumps & Service.
EPA establishes Clean Air Act standards for boilers and incinerators
In response to federal court orders requiring the issuance of final standards, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing final Clean Air Act standards for boilers and certain incinerators that achieve public health protections through reductions in toxic air emissions, including mercury and soot, but cut the cost of implementation by about 50% from an earlier proposal issued last year.
