A CB&I joint venture with Chiyoda Corp. and Saipem S.p.A has been awarded a preparation and supply contract for the Arrow LNG plant project in Australia. Arrow Energy Pty Ltd., the project operator, is a 50/50 joint venture partnered by Royal Dutch Shell and PetroChina.

LUKOIL has awarded Baker Hughes a two-year contract to provide full drilling and completion services for 23 wells in the West Qurna field in southeast Iraq, 31 miles west of Basra.
