Technip wins EPC deal for Canada subsea project

Technip received a contract from Hibernia Management and Development (HMDC) in Canada for the Hibernia southern extension project.
This project is part of the continuing Hibernia field development, officials said. Hibernia is located on the Grand Banks, approximately 315 kilometers offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, in approximately 90 meters of water.
The contract covers engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for flexible flowline and steel tube umbilical, together with the installation of all subsea equipment.
Technip’s operating center in St. John’s, Canada, will execute the contract, the contractor said. Financial terms were not disclosed.
