The Author
Sean Raymond is the ValveLink Integration Marketing Manager at the Emerson Innovation Center in Marshalltown, Iowa. Mr. Raymond was a Principal Instructor with Emerson Educational Services in Marshalltown, and was the Lead Instructor for Valve Engineering, FIELDVUE Instrumentation, FOUNDATION fieldbus and AMS Device Manager Schools. Prior to joining Emerson, he worked as a Lead Instrumentation Technician for a pulp and paper manufacturer in Idaho and for a biotech company in San Francisco, California and Vacaville, California. Mr. Raymond has more than 20 yr of process industry experience. He is a senior member of the International Society for Automation, and is a licensed journeyman electrician and a certified control systems technician.
