Advanced condition monitoring system
The LEWA CMS monitors the function of components and parameters that are critical to correct operation of reciprocating diaphragm pump heads. Impact sound sensors recognize leakage of suction and discharge valves. They report leaks as low as 1% of full flow. This makes early warning of potential failure a real possibility. Due to combined evaluation of impact sound and pressure signals, 90% of possible failures are monitored.
With this system users can carry out condition-oriented repair and maintenance of diaphragm pumps, schedule plant shutdown with necessary replacement parts on hand, reduce maintenance time and increase process equipment availabil
