HPCL to inaugurate 9-MMtpy integrated refinery and petrochemical complex

Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. plans to inaugurate a 9-MMtpy integrated refinery and petrochemicals complex in Balotra, India. The Rs 79,450-crore project will serve as an anchor industry for the development of a petrochemical and plastic park in the region, promoting downstream industries and ancillary sectors.
Once fully operational, the complex will produce petrol and diesel, along with petrochemical products such as polypropylene, linear low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, benzene, toluene and butadiene.
