Orlen has announced plans to build a 40-MW solar farm next to the Plock refinery in Poland. Once operational, the renewable energy facility will supply about 45,000 MWH of electricity annually.
This investment is due to the organization's acquisition of a 100% stake in the RES Project 5 from PNE Group. The solar farm is expected to begin operations in 2028.
