Australia's Ampol said it will work with local agribusiness Graincorp and asset manager IFM Investors to study a potential renewable fuel production facility at its Lytton refinery in Brisbane.
The parties have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU), under which Graincorp will supply feedstock to produce sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel at the Lytton refinery.
The move comes as companies see growing demand for greener forms of energy and fuel.
