Sonangol partners with Chinese CNCEC to build Lobito refinery

Sonangol and China National Chemical Engineering Company signed, in the city of Lobito, Benguela, a contract for the construction of the Lobito Refinery.
The final agreement, which provides for construction, technical support and supervision, follows the Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties, signed four months ago in Beijing.
The documents were initialed by the representatives of the companies CNCEC, KBR and DAR; and, by Sonangol, the CEO, Gaspar Martins, in an act witnessed by the holder of the oil portfolio, Diamantino Azevedo, and the governor, Luis Nunes.
