INEOS, Doeflex launch PVC compounding venture

INEOS Compounds and Doeflex Compounding have officially implemented the combination of their respective PVC compounding businesses, the companies announced on Tuesday.
The newly combined business features an integrated management team from both entities and is known as INEOS Compounds.
"This combination represents a strategic opportunity for both parties and is highly complementary to our long term growth strategy," said Jonathan Stewart, chief operating officer of INEOS Compounds.
"Customers will benefit from access to an extended product range; improved supply chain flexibility and combined expertise leading to improved technical and manufacturing production capability," he added.
Completion of the business combination has created a leading European PVC compounds producer with a turnover in excess of €200m and manufacturing sites in the UK, Sweden and Switzerland.
