KBC licenses process simulation models to Japan refiner TonenGeneral

Under the multi-million US dollar contract, KBC will provide a five-year licence for Petro-SIM, selected SIM models and software services to TonenGeneral.
The contract will include initial software implementation services.
After a thorough evaluation of process simulation packages, we chose KBCs Petro-SIM and selected SIM reactor models. We look forward to working with KBC, said Yoshihiro Sato, general manager of TonenGeneral.
We are pleased that TonenGeneral has selected KBC software and initial implementation services and look forward to adding significant value to the four refineries including Kyokuto Petroleum Industries Ltd, equity company of TonenGeneral, over the next five years, added Ian Godden, chairman of KBC.
