CB&I wins engineering deal on new NKNKh ethylene plant in Russia
CB&I has been awarded a contract valued in excess of $40 million by Russias Nizhnekamskneftekhim (NKNKh) to provide front-end engineering and design (FEED) services for a new ethylene plant.
The work is scheduled for completion in 2013.
"We are pleased to be selected for this significant project following our successful completion of the feasibility study last year and the recent award of the technology license, said Philip K. Asherman, CB&I CEO.

CB&Is project scope includes FEED for a 1.0 million tpy ethylene plant, a related butadiene extraction unit and a pyrotol unit, including offsites and utilities.
