Norway bomb blast targeted oil ministry - reports

The bombing that rocked Oslo, Norway, on Friday appeared to target the nation’s Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, according to local media reports.
The explosion blew out the windows of a large government office building and damaged several others, including one that holds the prime minister’s office, according to the Washington Post.
The prime minister, Jens Stoltenberg, was said to be safe.
However, the New York Times reported that fire continued to burn late Friday in the six-story office building that houses the oil ministry.
Local news reports said police confirmed at least two deaths.
Reporters said the area was not particularly crowded since it was a Friday afternoon and many people were on vacation.
Shortly after the bomb attack, a man dressed as a police officer opened fire on a youth political meeting on an island about 25 miles from Oslo.
Initial reports said that Stoltenberg was scheduled to attend that meeting.
