Precision under pressure: Engineering challenges in LP tank venting and relief design

Vahidunnisa Qureshi is a Senior Process Engineer at Bechtel India. She is an API-certified professional with more than 14 yr of experience ranging from refinery operations troubleshooting to process design of refineries, petrochemical plants, specialty chemicals plants, oil sands processing plants and LNG regasification plants. She is a graduate in chemical engineering from Nirma University in Ahmedabad, India.

Kaarthik is a Principal Process Engineer at Bechtel India, and has 31 yrs of expertise in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), front-end engineering and design (FEED) and basic engineering across petroleum refining, petrochemicals and gas processing projects. Kaarthik earned a BS degree in chemical engineering from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, India.

David A.G. Suares works as a Senior Process Engineer at Aarvi Encon Ltd. and has more than 33 yrs of industry experience. He started his career at Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) and later worked at Bechtel (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Fluor Daniel (India) Pvt. Ltd. He has worked on many flare and relief system projects and has authored several articles based on the same. Suares holds an ME degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
