Yves Herssens is the Business Development Leader of Scrubbing Technologies for Elessent Clean Technologies (formerly DuPont Clean Technologies), focusing on the development of the scrubbing business in non-sulfuric acid applications in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India and CIS subregions. After working with ExxonMobil in the Netherlands and in Belgium, Mr. Herssens joined MECS (a wholly owned subsidiary of DuPont) in 2005, and has held various financial and commercial positions. He earned an MS degree in business engineering and international management from the University of Antwerp.
Safariyeganeh, S. - Elessent Clean Technologies, Chesterfield, Missouri
Sara Safariyeganeh has been with Elessent Clean Technologies (formerly DuPont Clean Technologies) for 10 yr. Her work is focused on the process engineering, design and commissioning of DynaWave® wet scrubbing systems for refining and industrial applications. This includes experience working with sulfur recovery units, incinerators and sulfuric acid plants. Earlier in her career, Ms. Safariyeganeh worked in cement production for Buzzi Unicem USA. She earned a chemical engineering degree from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
