Zhifang Tang is the Chief Engineer and a Board Director of North Huajin Chemicals Industries Group Corp. He previously held senior technical and executive positions with PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical Co. Ltd., and is a renowned refinery expert with more than 30 yr of refinery and ethylene production experience. Mr. Tang is a petrochemical engineering graduate from Fushun Petroleum Institute in China.

Bo Yuan is the Director of the Technology Research and Development Centre for North Huajin Chemicals Industries Group Corp. He holds senior technical and executive positions, and has 30 yr of experience in petrochemical operations. Mr. Yuan holds a BS degree in chemical technology from Dalian University of Science and Technology in China.

Susong Zheng is a Research Engineer at the Technology Research and Development Centre for North Huajin Chemicals Industries Group Corp. He holds a chemical engineering degree from North East University, China, and has more than 20 yr of experience in product development and market study.

Keng H. Chung serves as a refinery advisor for North Huajin Chemicals Industries Group Corp., and as an energy consultant for investment bankers. He also acts as a process troubleshooting expert for petroleum operations and is actively involved in developing sustainable heavy oil technologies. Dr. Chung holds BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, and a PhD in chemical and petroleum engineering from the University of Calgary. He is a registered professional engineer in Alberta, Canada.

Quan Shi is a professor at the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and a Deputy Director at the China State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil Processing. Dr. Shi specializes in analytical chemistry and petroleomics. He holds BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from the China University of Petroleum, and a PhD in geological chemistry from the China University of Geology.
