John Baric is the licensing technology manager for Shell Global Solutions. He has worked in the refining and chemicals industries for 35 years, and has fulfilled roles in operations, technical services, business development and capital projects over a period that has seen substantial changes in environmental legislation, particularly in clean fuels, the emergence of oil sands upgrading technology, and unprecedented developments in catalysts and process technologies.
Kang, D.-H. - Hyundai Oilbank Daesan refinery, South Korea
Dal-Ho Kang is the executive vice president and refinery manager for the Hyundai Oilbank Daesan refinery in South Korea. He has over 30 years of experience with the company and previously held roles in technical services, projects and operations, and as head of research and development. He earned a BS degree and an MS degree in chemical engineering from Yonsei University in Seoul.
Orzeszko, G. - Grupa LOTOS Gdańsk refinery, Poland
Grzegorz Orzeszko is the hydrocracking complex manager at the Grupa LOTOS Gdańsk refinery, and worked in Grupa LOTOS’ investment department on the 10+ Programme for five years. He was responsible for the Shell Global Solutions DAO hydrocracker from its initial basis of design through the investment process to startup. Mr. Orzeszko earned an MS degree in chemical technology from AGH University of Science and Technology in Poland.
