The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) awarded its highest honor to Shell in recognition of the companys worldwide skills and professional development programs. Shell was presented with the Gold Corporate Partnership during a July event in London, UK. Shell is only the seventh organization in the world to meet IChemEs rigorous gold standard, which provides an independent assessment of an organizations professional standards, high-level training programs and other initiatives, including promoting the chemical engineering profession in schools, universities and communities.
