The kit is intended for testing HSE linking devices, which are critical components of the HSE architecture, connecting subsystems of HI (31.25 kbit/s) devices to the 100 Mbit/s HSE backbone. Ethernet-based host systems can configure and monitor these linking device subsystems as well as other HSE-based equipment.
