Inspecting waterside equipment is the best method
to evaluate the effectiveness of your water treatment
program. Deposits can form from contaminants in the water,
treatment chemicals, process intrusions or corrosion
processes. Corrosion may occur locally, or corrosion products
may be transported from other points within the system. Only
by analyzing these deposits and correctly interpreting test
results can plant engineers identify their root cause and
propose corrective action.
