AVEVA World Summit 2018: Digital Transformation—A Strategic Roadmap

More than 350 senior industry leaders from around the world gathered October 9–11 at the renowned La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, California for the AVEVA World Summit 2018. These leaders and pioneers from the industrial sector and leading companies shared their discoveries of what it takes to succeed in what has been described as the fourth industrial revolution.
More than 30 presentations, nine panel discussions and the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest technology innovations—some of which have yet to hit the market—proved to be the highlights of the two-day event.
The Innovation Hub featured the latest technology innovations and experts to showcase their capabilities.

In Thursday morning’s session, champion racing driver David Coulthard and former managing director of Formula 1 motor racing, Mark Gallagher, spoke about how the use of digital twins has transformed their sport, driving efficiency, speed and agility in all aspects of operations.
