She researches collaborative production management systems and manufacturing execution systems for process, discrete and batch manufacturing applications. Prior to joining ARC, Ms. Abel was the director of pharmaceutical industry marketing at The Foxboro Co., Validation Technologies and Invensys. She has a BS degree in chemistry from Clark University, an MS degree in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
