Kazakhstan plans to export 40,000 metric tons of Ai-92 gasoline this month from the Shymkent oil refinery amid plentiful stockpiles, the energy ministry's exporting schedule showed.
This would be on top of 14,283 tons already allocated for export from the Condensate refinery. It will increase total gasoline exports from Kazakhstan to more than 54,000 tons this month.
According to the official data, Kazakhstan boosted its first-quarter gasoline output by 21% year-on-year to 1.611 million tons.
Kazakhstan restricts fuel exports as it prioritizes the domestic market. It exports gasoline to Central Asia, including Afghanistan.
