Technip awarded engineering contract for Australia gas complex

Technip was awarded a reimbursable contract for engineering work and services related to procurement and construction management for the Macedon gas project located near Onslow in northwest Australia.
Financial terms were not disclared.
The contract covers the onshore facilities, consisting of a gas plant and pipeline works.
Technip’s operating centers in Perth, Australia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will execute the contract, which is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
