The Authors
Warren Chung is the President of Well Resources Inc. He specializes in assessing commercial readiness of novel technologies, project development and process licensing. He developed the best-practice protocols for the Ionikylation technology. Mr. Chung earned a BS degree in chemical and biomedical engineering from the University of Alberta in Canada. He is a registered professional engineer in Alberta.
Maw-Tien Lee is a Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry at National Chia-Yi University in Taiwan. Prior to his current position, he was a research scientist at CPC Corp., Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, and Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan. His research interests include colloid science, surface chemistry and environment-benign materials. Dr. Lee holds a BSc degree and a PhD from National Cheng-Kung University in Taiwan and an MSc degree from National Taiwan University.
Chi-Yao Chen is the Research Director of Shin Chuang Technology Co. Ltd. His research interests include developing advanced building and construction materials, as well as waterproof cement additives and mortars for concrete, using byproducts such as used rubber and asphaltenes. Dr. Chen holds BSc and MSc degrees and a PhD in applied chemistry from National Chia-Yi University in Taiwan.
Fang-Pin Chen is the Founder of Shin-Chuang Technology Co. Ltd. and Cartell Chemical Co. Ltd. in Taiwan. He specializes in the cyanoacrylate adhesive manufacturing process and rubber concrete technology. Mr. Chen holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from National Tsing-Hua University in Taiwan.
Tzong-Bin Lin is the Scientific Consultant for Shin Chuang Technology Co. Ltd. He has more than 35 yr of experience in catalytic distillation and extractive distillation technology development, and holds 79 patents and 19 technical publications. Dr. Lin holds BS and MS degrees and a PhD in chemical engineering from National Cheng-Kung University in Taiwan.
