MFG Chemical has promoted Barry Lassiter to VP of operations, where he will be responsible for MFG’s three plants in the Dalton, Georgia area and the recently acquired 26.7-acre plant in Pasadena, Texas.

MFG Chemical has promoted Barry Lassiter to VP of operations, where he will be responsible for MFG’s three plants in the Dalton, Georgia area and the recently acquired 26.7-acre plant in Pasadena, Texas. Barry joined MFG in 2014 following nearly 40 yr with Dupont and Invista. Joe Welch joined MFG in 2018 with 22 yr of experience in leading environmental, health and safety (EHS) initiatives in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Welch will now assume Mr. Lassiter’s previous role as Director. ValvTechnologies Inc. has named Mark Abbott as Director of engineering, where he will have global management responsibility for all of ValvTechnologies’ engineering groups and activities worldwide.
