Zeolites, an important type of catalytic material, are widely used in industrial catalysis. The research, development and industrialization of novel zeolites play key roles in the evolution of the chemical industry. The use of the FAU-type zeolite, zeolite Y, greatly improved the efficiency of oil refining, while the use of SAPO-34, a related CHA-type zeolite, helped realize the industrialization of the methanol-to-olefins process.1 At present, hundreds of natural and artificial zeolites have been found and synthesized, and 245 types of frameworks have been approved by the Structure Commission of the International Zeolite Association (IZA-SC) (Table 1).2 Zeolites of approximately 19 types o
