Chevron Lummus Global has contracts with Saudi Aramco and Total S.A. to provide process technology for two hydrocracker units, with a total capacity of 120,000 bpsd, for the planned 400,000-bpd refinery in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The refinery will process heavy Arabian crude oil, and the two hydrocracking units will convert vacuum gasoils and heavy coker gasoils into products such as Euro 5 compliant diesel and cat cracker and reformer feed that meet more stringent environmental standards.
