Technip has a lump sum turnkey contract with Motor Oil Hellas S.A. for new process units and utilities at its refinery in Corinth, Greece. The agreement is worth 300 million. The main process units are a 37,000 bpsd mild hydrocracker integrated with a 32,000 bpsd gas oil polishing unit, both licensed by Axens. Also included are a 65,000 Nm3/hr hydrogen plant and a 70 tpd sulfur recovery unit based on Technip technology.
The project revamp includes several process units; vacuum distillation, a diesel hydrodesulfurization and a new and revamped offsites and utilities. A 60-MW production power plant and its connection to the national grid is also included.
