Air Liquide is supplying hydrogen and steam to Chevron Products Co. The new production facility will produce up to 90 million cfd of hydrogen to supply its El Segundo, California, refinery. The plant is claimed to be one of Air Liquide's largest hydrogen plants worldwide and represents the first over the fence arrangement to supply a Chevron refinery with hydrogen in the US. An existing unit will be replaced to improve the overall refinery impact on the local and extended community.
