Ethanol blending methods receive patents Chevron U.S.A. Inc., a subsidiary of ChevronTexaco Corp., has received company patents on low-emissions gasolines containing ethanol and methods for blending those gasolines. These patents, issued as a part of a series of patent applications filed by Chevron U.S.A., are directed to various reformulated gasolines (RFG) blends and blending methods. Chevron plans to enter into royalty-free cross-licensing arrangements with interested companies.
