Coating aids quality control and structural
inspection
Optically active coating system (OACS) is said to be
suitable for a wide array of manufacturing and inspection
applications. These include: critical applications where
coating, substrate or product integrity cannot be compromised
by uneven/flawed coatings; applications that must have
lifetime inspections of structural integrity detection,
corrosion or potential holding tank/pipeline leakage; and
quality assurance inspections or counterfeit OEM component
situations.
This system is said to be a major breakthrough in
the inspection of any critical coating application.
