Coating aids quality control and structural inspection Optically active coating system (OACS) is said to be suitable for a wide array of manufacturing and inspection applications. These include: critical applications where coating, substrate or product integrity cannot be compromised by uneven/flawed coatings; applications that must have lifetime inspections of structural integrity detection, corrosion or potential holding tank/pipeline leakage; and quality assurance inspections or counterfeit OEM component situations. This system is said to be a major breakthrough in the inspection of any critical coating application.
