Technology facility opens The Fieldbus Foundation opened its fieldbus technology facility established in cooperation with Waseda University in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan. The new demonstration and training site is claimed to be the first of its kind in Asia and was established to help meet rising demand for Foundation fieldbus in the region. The center was founded as part of Waseda University's industrial open network laboratory, and set up jointly with its advanced research institute for science and engineering.
