Atofina Chemicals, Inc., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has announced the consolidation of the company's specialty chemicals and plastics additives businesses to form the additives group. The new unit is six business segments: stabilizers; acrylic modifiers; Metablen additives; epoxides; coatings; and catalysts.
Reportedly, the consolidation is designed to increase innovation and improve customer service in segments with similar chemistries and/or customers.
