The Fieldbus Foundation (Austin, Texas) held its General Assembly and Worldwide End-User Council Meetings on March 6 and 7 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Nearly 100 attendees showed a lot of enthusiasm for fieldbus and the efforts of the Fieldbus Foundation. The program included two introduction to Foundation fieldbus training sessions (one for managers and another for engineers) conducted by the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
