Waste-heat boilers (WHBs) are found in many
applications including petrochemical and ammonia
manufacturing. Heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) is a
special type of WHB; it uses the hot exhaust from the gas
turbine as a heat source. Often, HRSG units have multiple
steam drums that operate at different pressures. The
low-pressure circuit may serves as the feedwater source for
the higher-pressure circuit, thus making it very difficult to
use a single chemical feedpoint in the feedwater circuit. The
