O'Connor, J. T.
James T. O’Connor is a Professor of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering and the C. T. Wells Professor of Project Management at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include value management processes, design effectiveness, project constructability enhancement, project risk management and planning for startup. Dr. O’Connor’s industry experience includes several years in both the public and private sectors. He is active at both the Construction Industry Institute and the American Society of Civil Engineers, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
