Cleanova adds to its industrial filtration portfolio with acquisition of Allied Filter Systems
Cleanova is continuing its ambitious growth plans with the strategic acquisition of Allied Filter Systems Ltd., one of Europe’s leading high-performance filter bag and filter vessel manufacturers for the process industries. Adding the Allied Filter Systems business to their existing portfolio further expands Cleanova’s range of industrial filtration solutions and strengthens its global sales and service presence.

Based in Irlam, Manchester, in the UK, Allied Filter Systems produces high-quality liquid filtration systems, including filter bags and housings, filter cartridges and housings, strainers and engineered filters. The brand has become synonymous with reliability, flexibility and value and has a strong reputation for innovation, quality and best-in-class customer service. Its ambition and values closely align with Cleanova's commitment to deliver industry-leading filtration solutions and prioritize customers in every decision.
Allied Filter Systems operates from three UK manufacturing facilities that blend innovative, custom designed production techniques and traditional manufacturing methods. With direct sales across Europe, as well as an extensive international distributor network, its products are deployed in process industry applications in more than 30 countries. The assets and expertise inherent in the brand will further extend Cleanova’s capabilities, both in depth of product offering and in geographical reach.
This is the third major acquisition by Cleanova in 12 months and follows the purchase of Shawndra and Sidco Group in July 2024. It further demonstrates Cleanova’s ambitions to expand its global footprint and strengthen their presence in the industrial filtration sector, while continuing to offer customers innovative filtration solutions backed by full lifecycle support.
