Iraq's Kerbala refinery will operate at around 50% capacity in the coming days, an official source told media.
The refinery will process around 60,000 bpd as four of its eight heat exchanger units will stay offline for extensive maintenance, the source added.
The 150,000-bpd refinery would resume operations on Tuesday after completing maintenance work, the oil ministry had said, but added that production units would be brought back on line one at time.
The Kerbala refinery had been non-operational since Sept. 25 for maintenance, a source with direct knowledge of the matter said earlier in October.
