Eni reports Gela refinery working normally again after port suspension

Eni SpA, Italy's biggest oil and natural gas company by volumes, said Tuesday that its Gela refinery is working normally after tugboat services at the Sicilian port were restarted, allowing for crude to arrive and refined products to be shipped out.
"I can confirm that all is back to normal" at Gela, said an Eni spokesman, after port and regional authorities reached a deal Friday.
Port authorities Friday authorised a new tugboat to start work in Gela after a suspension had meant that ships couldn't service the refinery for days, which would have eventually resulted in a stoppage at the plant.
The Gela refinery has a daily production of about 100,000 bbl of oil, although it agreed to a one-year partial shut down the facility from June to take into account lower demand.
