Mass spectrometer systems producer expanding presence in Germany as well as worldwide
Inprocess Instruments, a provider of specialized quadrupole mass spectrometer systems for online gas analysis, is consolidating its research and development, production and administration by expansion and a change of location in Bremen, Germany. Since it was founded twelve years ago, the mass spectrometer systems producer for the chemical, pharmaceutical and petro-chemical industries has grown. Currently employing 30 people, the company also supports the steel, lamp, glass and electronics industries with mass spectrometer systems.
InProcess Instruments offers process analysis solutions for online gas analysis as an analytical key and core component of monitoring and regulation of production for process optimization, as well as quality control and environmental monitoring. Other focal points are trace analysis and the field of research and development.
The new location was chosen because of its position near the airport, increased floor-space, the first class technical facilities of the new building and the excellent working conditions for the employees.
InProcess’ industry sector, with its mainly medium-sized companies, is among the most productive, innovative and internationally operating industries in the German economy, and brings with it the creation of long-term regional employment. In 2010, InProcess increased staff levels by 20% and plans further recruitment in 2011.
Furthermore, it is working on developing new fields of application for mass spectrometer systems and is intensifying its strategic expansion in the Near and Middle East markets as well as Southeast Asia. For this reason, InProcess Instruments will participate in the ArabLab exhibition in Dubai in 2011, as well as LabAsia in Kuala Lumpur for the first time.
