Burckhardt Compression has introduced its extended range of Process Gas Compressors which enables the company to offer a cost-effective compressor solution for a broad range of applications within the hydrocarbon processing industry. The development is based on long term experience and a history in developing, engineering and manufacturing Process Gas Compressors API 618. Proven parts and elements of the existing frame sizes were implemented ensuring the top quality standards and high reliability.
This product range significantly expands Burckhardt Compression’s ability to cover the whole variety of process requirements. Product development is an important part of the company’s certified business processes. In-house analysis and the wide experience from the existing compressor range of the even larger and more powerful Hyper Compressors, confirmed the design that result in durability and performance at highest safety levels. Burckhardt Compression's Process Gas Compressor represents highest availability and a long meantime between overhaul, also thanks to in-house engineered and manufactured high quality compressor components and valves. Practice oriented design principles result in easy maintenance work and short downtime for overhauls. Burckhardt Compression’s aim is to deliver compressor solutions with lowest life cycle costs. The company’s Process Gas Compressors API 618 are used in the refinery and petrochemical/chemical industry as well as for industrial gases and gas transport and storage.
Burckhardt Compression has a long tradition and broad in-house experience in developing, engineering and manufacturing large reciprocating compressors for highest discharge pressure up to 3’500 bar / 50’000 psi (Hyper Compressors). In 2007, the company delivered the world’s most powerful single frame compressor with 27’500 kW.
