Mini-LNG concept plants operating worldwide Global Cryo Systems, a member of the Dubai-based Global Process Systems Group, has developed an innovative concept for mini-liquefied-natural-gas (LNG) plants. The skid-mounted small-to-medium scale plants have processing capacities of 5 MMscfd to 220 MMscfd. This plant is claimed to be ideal for flare reclamation, virtual pipeline (truck and trailer deliveries), coal-bed methane recovery and alternative energy projects. Due to rising energy costs and increasing demand for energy, significant opportunities for micro- and mini-LNG plants have developed (Fig. 1).
