Former senator addresses America’s national debt crisis

Former US Senator Alan Simpson (R-WY) is many things. He is intelligent. He is pragmatic. He is a dedicated public servant. And most of all, he is funny. Mr. Simpson exploited all of his personal gifts (especially his gift of humor) for the entertainment of the NPRA general session Monday morning. His remarks veered from one-liners and funny asides to serious discussions about dense public policy issues, especially those related to the federal budget and Americas national debt crisis.
